Drunk Brick or Hollywood Bond | Unusual Design | CLAYTON STYLE

Drunk Brick or the Hollywood Bond do not follow the traditional rules of masonry. This type of bond is an artistic rendering of brick courses designed to make the construction appear as very rustic and thrown together, as they do not follow any specific pattern. One could say that it has the look of a fairytale cottage.

Wine will be for sale by: The Wine Merchant, Edg-Clif Winery, Noboleis Vineyards, Balducci Vineyards and Augusta Winery.

Food will be available for purchase from Straub’s food truck and STLBLT food truck along with local restaurants on Carondelet Plaza including 801 Chophouse, 801 Fish and Whitebox Eatery.

In addition, entertainment will be provided by a wine bottle juggler, champagne diva and a puzzle paint exhibit hosted by Saint Louis Art Fair.

New Plans for Centene Auditorium & Parking Garage

Design for the largest project downtown Clayton has ever seen continues to evolve. While the most anticipated elements of Subdistrict 2B are set for future phases, the parking garage fronting Forsyth Boulevard will come first.

Once planned as a garage with an architecturally interesting facade, such as the metal scales of the existing Centene garage a block east, then as a faux residential facade, the most recent renderings depict something that looks basically like a parking garage. The design has more architectural heft than pasting on architectural elements or art and may meld well with the adjacent auditorium. The south side of the garage is planned to be covered by future residential development.
